Director of Communications
Susan Brill joined the Mission America Coalition as its part-time director of communications in 2006. She has a heart for missions and specifically for the wounded who have had difficult experiences in the Church. With a B.A. in journalism, she brings 17 years of experience working in publishing and communications for ministry. She served with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association from 1998 - 2005 pioneering the ministry's web presence - producing more than 30 websites for its various ministries, webcasting, and developing online evangelism. She also served as resource development manager for the Training Division, developing The Billy Graham Training Center Bible and materials for the Rapid Response crisis chaplain training program. Before working for BGEA, Susan served with Compassion International as its donor communication manager telling the stories of Compassion's work with children in impoverished areas of the world. She also worked with MAC chairman Paul Cedar at the Evangelical Free Church of America as an assistant editor for the evangelistic magazine Pursuit and The Evangelical Beacon. During that time she sat on the Minnesota Christian Management Association board of directors and was a member of the Evangelical Press Association. Susan recently returned to her home state of Wisconsin where she has her own writing and editing business serving a variety of ministry and non-ministry clients. She spends her free time in organic gardening, culinary experiments, and tweeting.
