"The whole Church taking the whole Gospel to the whole Nation - and to the World."

Featured Ministry Networks

Connecting ministries together to help facilitate communication and cooperation is a key to multiplying the power of the Spirit—particularly among those who share a common purpose or serve a specific demographic group or community.

The Mission America Coalition has helped create scores of new ministry “networks” to provide forums for sharing ideas, discussing topical issues, and strengthening their collective response to common problems and challenges. Some of these ministry networks are featured on this page.

Christian Emergency Network (CEN)

CEN assists Christians in responding effectively with a compassionate Christian voice before, during, and after a national disaster through a united pray-care-share media and ministry response. CEN was formed after the September 11, 2001 attacks on America. Originally organized by Mission America Coalition members, CEN now has over 7,000 Christian ministry and media organizational partners, in addition to 47,000 church partners across the nation.

In 2005, when Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma devastated Louisiana, Mississippi and parts of Florida, CEN brought hundreds of churches, denominations and ministries together to offer hope and help in Jesus name. The coordinated and united efforts of CEN partners strengthened the church’s testimony to the watching world.

Proclamation Evangelism Network (PEN)

PEN is a network of evangelism ministries and denominations that join forces in cities to saturate entire communities with the gospel.

Springfest
In 2005, the impact of churches and ministry organizations working together was powerfully demonstrated as PEN members partnered together to proclaim the gospel to the mid-Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia at Springfest. Over 21,000 people attended some portion of the three day outreach, featuring a wide range of Christian music artists and nightly gospel presentations by the Steve Wingfield Evangelistic Association. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association trained 800 of the 1200 volunteer counselors who were drawn from more than 100 churches. InterVarsity student leaders on the campus of James Madison University were active in evangelistic outreach. The Institute of Prison Ministries from the Billy Graham Center also joined hands with a local ministry to reach transitional prison inmates. On The Go Ministries connected with a number of churches to conduct a neighborhood outreach. More than 400 people came to faith in Christ during Springfest.

Youth Transition Network (YTN)

According to recent studies between 65% and 95% of high school students in church youth programs fall away from the church within a year of graduation. The church is failing to prepare them adequately for the transition into a college or adult community environment and/or failing to re-engage them in the life of the church as this new phase of their life unfolds.

The Mission America Coalition convened a meeting of leaders on this issue in 2005 who then formed a “Youth Transition Network” to take the lead in developing solutions to this issue. Educational videos and a new website for connecting youth in transition to other Christians and to campus organizations are being piloted at the country’s largest university campus. Preparations are underway to go nationwide as quickly as possible. Additional studies and other measures are being researched by MAC partners to promote awareness and engage the whole Church in both preparing and protecting our youth.

Hollywood Prayer Network

Hollywood Prayer Network invite churches, para-church organizations and individuals across America to commit to pray for the people working in all aspects of the entertainment industry, including film, television, music, the news media and the internet. HPN supplies monthly prayer requests, updates, praises and news breaks to all of our prayer partners. We invite professionals working in the entertainment industry to sign up for our "I to I" prayer program where they can receive prayer from an intercessor who does not work in the industry. Our goal it to be a part of seeing God transform Hollywood.

They offer free materials including a Free 15 minute DVD - “The Hollywood Crisis” - which tells how God is working in Hollywood through prayer, and Remote Prayer Stickers that go on the front of TV remotes, reminding you to pray for the people on the shows you’re watching. They also offer opportunities for people to commit to praying for individuals working in the entertainment industry through their “I to I” and Incognito Prayer Programs.
