Glenn graduated from Dennison University, Granville, Ohio in 1977 and received his MDiv from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 1984. During his time at Gordon-Conwell, he had the unique distinction of being awarded the Outstanding Student in Theological Studies and the John Tate Memorial Award for Outstanding Potential in the Pastorate. From 1986-1988, Glenn was named one the Outstanding Men in America.
Glenn brings experience in leading city and community ministry partnerships from previous ministries in Muncie, Indiana, where he served as Pastor of Eden United Church of Christ and President of Christian Ministries of Delaware County. Glenn also served as pastor of Auburn Community Church and community leader in Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
Before joining Mission America, Glenn was appointed as Interim Executive Minister at Colonial Church of Edina, MN, a congregation of 3,200 members. During his tenure at Colonial Church, Glenn was able to assist the church in an important time of ministry transition, addressing significant issues using conflict resolution skills and providing leadership to develop a new vision statement.
Glenn leads with vision, seeing the "big picture", while developing a participatory environment which motivates others toward shared goals.
Glenn and his wife Kathy have two children, Katie and Drew and live in Eden Prairie, MN.
