Jim is a career business executive with over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. His extensive background includes over 10 years as the chief executive of some of the largest and most successful companies in the industry – including the securities, insurance and asset management affiliates of Fortune 100 and Fortune 200 companies.

In the year 2000, Jim completed a two-year transition from the business world into full time volunteer ministry at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village, CA. There he served as a member of the financial oversight committee and director of lighthouse ministries. As Jim encouraged the membership and staff of Calvary to embrace the lighthouse vision, it wasn’t long before Calvary became the model lighthouse church in all of the United States, growing 20% each year through lighthouses. Calvary was featured at the 2002 MAC Annual Meeting in Orlando, and soon after Jim became co-chairman of the lighthouse council.

Since 2004, Jim has been central in the development of the “Loving Our Communities to Christ” framework. He will be leading the “Loving Our Communities to Christ” initiative.

Jim and his wife Ila reside in Westlake Village, CA and have three grown daughters and two lovable dogs.
