Global Connections
The Mission America Coalition has developed a MAC-Global website to serve churches, cityreachers, and others with a heart for missions. The site offers tools and tutorials for developing a global outreach team, engaging the most strategic missions opportunities, reaching immigrant populations in your own city, identifying God's global purposes, and much more. Use it as your resource for the best articles, books, ministries, and tools to help you in missions. TASK
More than 6,000 people groups remain in the "unreached" category. That means that millions of people have no physical access to the gospel. Our biblical mandate is to make disciples of all nations (peoples). While ministries and denominations have made great strides in recent years to identify and reach thousands of people groups, we are now down to what many missions strategists consider the "toughest" to reach. Most of these groups are in Africa and Asia and most have strong political, religious and cultural resistance to the Christian gospel. However, the difficulty of the task only intensifies the need to rely on our all-powerful God. The task of reaching these remaining groups can be done through the power of the Holy Spirit and if we are willing to make the necessary sacrifices.
TEAM Because the Mission America Coalition is committed to reaching both the United States and the world, it has gathered momentum and synergy around the vision of assisting the task of reaching unreached people groups. Rev. John Quam, National Facilitator of Global Ministries, has brought together a representative group of strategic missions leaders who are discerning together how to serve the cause of Christ more effectively through collaborative ministry. This group, known as the Global Ministries Task Force is made up of some twenty missions leaders. (Global Ministries Task Force - Adobe PDF document)
INVITATION Thousands are waiting to hear the Good News. And, while the doors remain open to reaching many of these unreached people groups the urgency to reach out is now. If you would like to learn more about how you, your church or ministry can become involved in MAC Global Ministries, the Shaping Eternity Initiative or the Global Ministries Task Force, please email John Quam.
